In MSN interview number four, I got a hold of undeniably one of the most talented skateboarders to live in Saskatoon, Trevor Pilon. For all the years I've known him, he always stood out for his insane trick selection, his personality, and of course, his insane style on a skateboard. Mention his name amongst any skateboarder in Saskatoon, and you can pretty much gurantee they'll start talking about his three flips and some random thing he did the night before. Again, just like Chappy, Trevor threw out probably the illest quote I've ever heard him say that completely took me by surprise. So, enjoy one of Saskatoon's finest. My biggest regret is that I dind't have any photos newer than 3 or 4 years old of the dude to share. If you've seen him skate before though, you know how amazing he is. If you haven't, I suggest taking a 40 to the park and introducing yourself.

Did you get to film anything this year?
No man, I don’t know anyone with a camera. I just go ripping with Scott then go to the pub and play VLT’s.
Ha-ha. Well I’m back in two weeks for a while so we'll go sesh something. It might take some missions indoors but we'll get something. Did you have a fun summer at least?

It was one of the best skate wise just because I was going everyday, all day with Scott.
Were you learning lots of tricks and stuff?
Switch hardflips mange. That trick is fucked though.

I almost hardflipped Nutana but the board just got fucked up man then it got ugly and cold out so I gotta go find something bigger next year to hardflip.

What was the funniest thing you remember from this summer?
Holy fuck, give me a minute! Ha-ha. I got lil’ Mikey Campbell into Riley’s one night after we drank at some skeezies house and he was stealing drinks from peoples tables and bringing them back to ours. Then he almost got in to a fight with some big burly nate-doog. It was fucking hilarious!
Any other randoms?
Me, Billy, and Mikes sister went back to his farm after drinking at Andy’s all night, and I guess we were being real loud, or I was, and his grandma woke up and kicked me out. I stole Mike’s sisters’ shoes and wore them out so I could get into his truck and pass out. When I woke up I didn’t have a fucking clue what was going on. Hahahahhahhaha. It was fucking greasy.
Geeze man. That’s insane. Why do you live in Saskatoon.

What's the best part about it?
Home cooked meals and homies.

I’m just working with Scotty D and helping out my mom’s boyfriend at Midwest.

To move to Van in Feb with Brett Fleury to kill shit and eat falafel pitas…and score dimes every night.

I bit my tongue in half when I was like 10…and I got a steel baseball ball bat to the face in a game once…and I almost bled to death two summers ago...oh yeah, I’m allergic to penicillin so if you have chlamydia please stay away. Ahahhahah. That’s the truth.

That's so insane. Haha. What's up with the Saskatoon skate scene nowadays? It's it dead?
I don’t think its dead, I just think people look at it like a job now from that stupid fucking show “Life with Ryan.”

Just go out and have fun, and if you get hooked up, good for you. But yah, people just doing it for money are wack…but it’s good to be paid for something you love. I still have fun and I’m twenty-five.
Remember the good old days with you, Carmichael, Dillon, Lee...no cares in the world, just skating. That's what skateboarding to me in the prairies is all about. Being with your friends, just skating and having fun. Nobody’s sponsored and nobody cares.
